JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the cytology specimen screening.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Performs in accordance with the standards of CAP and JCI. 30%
2. Performs ands documents all required QC and maintenance. 20%
3. Perform any work related to section as directed or assigned. 10%
4. Maintains all records according to policy and procedures. 10%
5. Performs gyn.cases screening and verify negative cases but for high risk cases or those with diagnosis of " ASCUS and above should be submitted to assigned pathologist to verify".10%
6. Perform Non-gyn and FNA cases screening and make dots on suspicious areas and submitted to assigned pathologist to verify. 10%
7. Evaluates the quality of stains and smears for all cytology cases. 10%
