The following main duties should be understood to describe the most important aspects of the job. Job holders may be required by their supervisor to perform any other related duties as they may arise.
1-Conducts user interview and documents findings.
2-Reviews and analyzes system specifications to determine whether all required elements have been included. Consults with clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
3-Analyzes user requirements, producing total requirement specifications
4-Need to have had significant prior functional experience with full life cycle Oracle E-Business Projects implementations. It is essential that the Functional Specialist have at least 2 years strong experience and knowledge of Oracle R12 Projects Module implementations (Oracle Project Manufacturing, Billing, Costing, Resource Management, and Integration with Primavera).
5-Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
6-Tests and debugs computer programs. Creates and maintains complete and full test environment for in-house developed systems, Maintains permanent test environment for the user. Moves tested systems and subsystems to production.
7-Obtains users’ approval for tested systems.
8-Prepares user instruction manuals.
9-Trains personnel in user departments in any specific procedures necessary to enter data into terminals for computer processing. Prepares training plans and schedules and trains all levels of users. Leads and trains new Programmer Analyst.
10-Applies the latest technology and medium to communicate training to the user.
11-Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Reviews programmer documentation and conducts’ walkthroughs.
12-Conducts post-implementation review of newly implemented systems.
13-Analyzes and resolves Supply Projects and subsystem problems
14-Segregates user and system operator’s tasks by preparing operator’s daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly activities checklists
15-Coordinates Plan and Support periodical stock-take activities, 2-3 years’ experience in Functional Consultant. Oracle E-Business implementation as functional lead for Oracle R12 Projects and Very Good Experience in the Account Determination from all other Sub Modules. Oracle Forms and Reports experience is a plus. Experience UNIX platform is a plus, Linux or Windows Server.
16-Performs ERP new release management activities.
17-Coordinates with DBA’s reliability and integrity of the databases.
18-Works closely with Implementer and takes over system from the implementing company
