• Analyzes and evaluates company needs to request bids from multiple vendors in an effort to fulfill those needs with best price and relationship in mind.
• Analyzes performance and pricing from vendors to rate vendors for future opportunities with our organization.
• Communicates with department personnel to insure product requirements are being meet when a substitution is suggested.
• Counsels and directs personnel at all levels on appropriate purchasing procedures.
• Monitors purchases from order to payment to make sure all steps are completed as expected and communicated to appropriate team members. Alert proper leadership when issues with any step of this process arises for assistance.
• Analyzes monthly billing to verify invoices align with business needs and contract with vendor.
• Acts as resource to provide tracking to department from vendors for time sensitive purchases.
Responsible for the overall logistics performance in Saudi Arabia including design, implementation and monitoring of the logistics operations, as per company requirements in KSA.
In charge of sourcing and negotiating with service providers such as clearance & transportation agents, warehousing solutions..etc.
Manages the logistics process with assigned agents from A-Z making sure things are running smoothly and within agreed framework.
Handles import shipments from A-Z, confirming draft documents with suppliers, monitoring document delivery, following up on import clearance to ensure timely clearance and avoid additional expenses.
Coordinates delivery of the product fromport to company warehouse or final buyers, arranges delivery with agents and final buyers to ensure timely transport and offloading without delivery delays or truck detention charges.
Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive logistics report which would contain status updates on all shipments incoming, pending or delivered, including shipping docs status, clearance updates, delivery confirmation, logistics invoices.
Responsible for warehousing management solutions, and through his warehouse teams be able to maximizes the accuracy and efficiency of warehousing operation.
Keeps close,professional contact withagents, customs officials and other service providers to ensure correct and up to date information on import rules and procedures in KSA.
