The successful incumbent will have an entrepreneurial mindset and to represent the interests of John Crane at the customer, while also representing the customer’s interests at John Crane. This role will actively involve identifying and cultivating new, commercially viable, business opportunities to our customers using our full product range.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing and developing a set of key accounts in line with the regional growth plan
• Providing technical support and advice to end users
• Marketing and selling existing and new product lines
• Building relationships with key end users
• Perform contract reviews
• Target retrofits and upgrades
• Introduce regional specialists to the end users such as the Turbo Machinery Team as a vehicle to upsell
• Developing the power and water business in the region
• Developing the general industry business in the region
• Influence customers to phase out competitor products with John Crane products.
• Influence customer to upgrade to newer technology in identified applications.
