Job Purpose:
AS the Team senior member of Underground Power Cable Splicing and termination crew at site need to carry out day to day job related Cable splicing works by following company procedures and policies. Shall carry out the instructions given by Power line project Engineer/ Supervisor.
Job Requirements
Carry out day to day Underground 69kV and above power Cable splicing and termination activities on single core and three core XLPE cables at site.
Sound Knowledge about69kV/ 115kV underground power line installation, maintenance and operations 69 level and above.
Repair cable faults on various conductor sizes and cross sectional areas of Aluminum and copper conductors.
Experience on power line project scope of work and technical specifications.
Sound knowledge on underground line materials, accessories and their functions.
Experience on 69kV cable routes and joint bay arrangements.
Knowledge on various kinds of high voltage insulation tapes of cable splicing works.
Ability to maintain High Quality workmanship under temperature control environment
Actively monitor the work environment for hazards
Support to project quality and safety audit
Identify and highlight possible risk on project
