1. Achieve agreed personal sale targets and other KPIS as per the annual sales budget by continuously networking, cold calling on potential clients and developing existing customer accounts
2. Implements the agreed marketing and customer service programs to ensure the company presents a consistent image in terms of product mix, brand equity and value added proposition (better services, better designs, better deliveries and coverage, …etc.)
3. Manage personal activity according to the following targets or ratios:
Daily Targets (sales, expense management, collections and backorders…etc.)
Gaps WTD and MTD
Daily plans to bridge the gaps
Sales discounts, value offers, prices where applicable
4. Communication with active customers based on the value of their business and complexity of orders to ensure all expectations are fully understood and managed
5. Direct reporting to the Sales Manager as required
6. Implement all agreed sales department procedures and policies to ensure a consistent customer experience and to deliver agreed service standards
7. Collect market data on behalf of both the Marketing and Sales Managers so that marketing plans can be continuously refined to improve customer conversion or account value
8. Review inventory SOH to assess what should be the focus area for product sales in any period to ensure that the inventory is managed effectively
9. Review customer inventory SOH and ensure that backorders are supplied to maintain agreed minimum levels as per the service agreements
10. Proactively manage all customer issues referred by the Customer Services Team to ensure a satisfactory solution in a timely manner
11. Maximize the product sell in opportunity to maximize the value of the customer account, providing marketing advice / support where possible to help promote customer sales to their own end users / clients
12. Complete collection and payment banking procedures, maintaining the required records, documents and cash/deposit slips/cheques in line with all accounting policies
13. Perform proper daily follow up on any shared activities or marketing campaigns
14. Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge by active participation in all marketing and sale training provided
