- To undertake Electrical and mechanical repairs to all types of H.E Perform his work in a safe and efficient manner using such skills and knowledge as is required whilst showing regard for current legislation and for complete customer satisfaction.
- To service, adjust and repair equipment, components and accessories including removal and refitting in a safe, proper and economical manner using special tools and equipment provided, ensuring top quality workmanship at all times.
- Observing and recognizing and reporting on defects and/or symptoms of impending failure.
- To acquire, using systems laid down by the Company, all necessary replacement parts, ensuring that no parts are fitted to machines other than those required
- To Complete the work detailed on the job card, unless specified instructions are given by a Supervisor.
- Interpret technical service information and data from manuals, bulletins etc. Implement by applying correct techniques.
- To ensure at all times that equipment and tools are kept in a clean safe condition and report any shortages or damaged/faulty equipment to the supervisor.
- Keep working areas in a clean and safe condition, dispose of displaced material, fluids, packaging, etc., into receptacles provided.
- Drive customers machines and company vehicles on or off the premises to ensure no damage is sustained and with due regard to Company Policy and current legislation.
- Keep abreast of improvements and techniques.
- Attend and participate in such training courses as deemed necessary.
- Possession of a comprehensive hand tool kit.
- Possession of a valid full driving license.
- To comply with the aims and objectives of the Customers Satisfaction Programmer.
- To understand, comply and maintain the procedures associated with ISO 9000.
