Aid engineering staff to design structures, equipment, and processes in the agricultural industry.
Visit sites to identify problems, to consult with contractors, and/or to monitor operation activities.
Assist in preparing proposals, technical reports or economic studies
Take direction from and work under the mentorship of senior level engineering staff
Participate in the design and installation of recycled water irrigation networks, and their control and automation
Test agricultural machinery and equipment to ensure adequate performance
Plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously
Test the Irrigation Systems during field operations and provide support to the client
Develop ways to reduce water consumption or cost savings
Perform extensive research and development technical studies
Control the efficiency of processes
Supervise with water engineers, designs and calculations for irrigation and recycled water systems.
Use computer engineering programs.
Discuss plans with the team, clients, contractors, consultants, for decision making progress purposes, so necessary changes will be made.
Prepare reports, sketches, working drawings, specifications, proposals, and budgets for proposed sites or systems.
Work and control sensoring, measuring, and recording equipment, and other instrumentation used to monitor the performance of the activities
