ob Description
Role Purpose
Execute the cleanliness, sanitation, labeling and FIFO to the pastry section in line with the kitchen quality standards.
Accountabilities
- Execute the assigned cooking tasks to support the pastry chef in preparing the menu items.
- Responsible for the sanitation and the cleanliness of the section.
- Execute the assigned tasks related to the hygiene and maintenance of the section in line with the highest standards.
- Maintain the equipment and the utensils and ensure the cleanliness of the equipment at all times.
- Consistently clean the assigned section to ensure proper application of the HACCP regulations.
- Label the items as per the approved list provided by the Pastry Chef and in line with food safety guidelines.
- Apply the FIFO (first in first out) to the items of the pastry section.
- Job holder accountabilities are not limited to the above mentioned, the line manager can assign additional responsibilities when required
