Senior Planning Engineer – Saudi Arabian Baytur

Prepare and develop the master schedule for design and/or construction phases of the project at tendering stage including the estimate of construction periods of tendered projects.
Review Contractor’s submitted Planning Package including the Construction Methodology, detailed Baseline Program, the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), the manpower histogram, the plant histogram, the cash flow diagram, etc.
Review and assess the updated time schedules and progress reports submitted regularly by the Contractor, perform critical path analysis and identify areas of concern.
Follow up and monitor the project budget during the design and construction stages.
Check and approve the planning techniques, logic and sequence of activities proposed by the Contractor’s Planning Engineer for executing the project.
Prepare regular reports to the Client showing the project’s status in coordination with the Contractor’s Planning Engineer and the Project Manager.
Liaise with the Contractor throughout the construction period and make adjustments and/or revisions to the Baseline Program as may be necessary and valid.
Maintain Client’s full satisfaction in respect of project planning requirements and progress monitoring services.
Review and monitor Contractor’s follow up logs for engineering works and submittals including shop drawings, materials, method statements, in additions to the order and delivery of long lead items
