Assesses the general condition of the patient prior to any treatment and refers any contraindications for the treatment to the attending physicians accordingly.
• Assists patients in creating appropriate care plan to achieve optimum results from the treatment and conveying to the physician any individual patient’s concerns and requests
• Reinforces pre- and post-treatment instructions to the patient as advised by their respective physician.
• Secureswritten consent from the patient prior the procedure.
• Assists the physician in performing medical or aesthetic procedures which includes, but not limited to: preparing necessary medications and supplies prior the procedure; preparing the patient by applying anesthetic cream prior to procedure; handing out to the doctor instruments during the procedure; and applying creams or giving out medications as per doctor’s preference and advice.
• Performs certain face and body treatments and operates aesthetic devices/machine allowed by the clinic’s policies and with proper supervision of the physician.
• Relaysuntoward signsand symptoms felt by the patient to the attending physician immediately.
• Establishes a clean and orderly working environment, and secures a safe and comfortable space for the patient.
• Demonstrates and maintains professional ethics in line with clinic’s policies all the time
• Promotes good working relationship with other staff members.
• Reports immediately any dysfunctional devicesor materials to the immediate superior
• Monitors and records medication and derma supplies inventory and requests for necessary stock.
• Ensure to check the payment and the remaining session before doing any procedure to the patient.
• Performs other tasks and functions that may be delegated by the immediate superior or the physician in accordance to clinic’s policies
