· Quantifies the Material Requests (MR’s) as per procedure;
· Prepares and agrees the variation orders (V.O) including measurements and pricing, evaluation of variation claims (not within the contractual scope of works);
· Examines, controls, and evaluates sub-contractors invoices prepared and submitted by the sub-contractor based on the P.O. agreement against the actual installation at site as per approved shop drawings, ensures the contractual obligations are satisfied, issue Payment Certificate for Sub-contractor as per procedure and submits to the Main Office QS;
· Prepares the settlement of sub-contractors Final Account as per procedure, before submission to the Main Office QS;
· Prepares, calculates and confirms the actual quantities to be submitted for the monthly Interim Payment Certificate for approval by the Consultant/Client, as per procedure before submission to the Main Office QS;
· Prepares the settlement of the Final Account of the Project as per procedure before submission to the main office QS;
· Participates in the technical and progress meetings as required by the PM/PD;
· Prepares a consolidated revised Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in the format required by the Client (applies for re-measurement Projects) before submission to the main office QS;
· Keeps the proper records of the project;
· Assists in the contractual claims by the Contracts manager and Contracts Administration;
· Performs any other tasks as assigned by the Senior QS and Head of QS.
