Duty and responsibility
- Adhere to all policies and procedures implemented by the Pharmacy Department.
- Take charge of the pharmacy supervisor when needed
- Efficiently and accurately validate physicians' order, resolve drug interactions, and verify drug suitability, dosage, and administration routine
- Recommend appropriate medications to the physician and nursing staff, tailored to individual patient needs, safety, prescription limitations, and ease of administration
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding complications of drug therapy.
- Consult patients regarding their prescriptions
