Job Summary
To Plan and implement Tax structure of the group and compliance with GTA requirements for all processes and and implementing written policies and procedures that govern Tax aspects for the Group.
Job Responsibilities 1
Indirect Taxes
\[ Be the reference for all tax matters as Tax expert and focal point
\[ Educating, sharing knowledge, and staying updated with the changes in the Qatar Income Tax Law and analyzing its impact on the Group’s policies and procedures
\[ Evaluates and improves processes and controls to optimize compliance efficiency
\[ Maintains and improves the guidelines and procedures ensuring compliance with the applicable laws relating to Indirect Taxes.
\[ Compliance with Contract Reporting requirement in coordination with C&P.
Job Responsibilities 2
VAT
\[ In charge of the coordination of relevant authorities and stakeholders for the implementation of VAT
\[ Ensure readiness and preparation for such implementation once decided by the authorities
\[ Ensure system (SAP) readiness to support the proposed VAT mechanisms
\[ Ensure the implementation of VAT is well reflected in all our contracts in coordination with C&P and other departments.
\[ Be the Finance focal point on all aspects related to VAT implementation in coordination with Lead General Accounting and the other stakeholders
Additional Responsibilities 3
General
\[ Corresponding with tax authorities and monitoring the organization’s tax position.
\[ Calculate, account for and report Taxes: WHT, VAT, Corporate Tax etc.
\[ Comply with GTA and Fiscal requirements applicable to the Group
\[ Ensure all aspect related to taxes within Elegancia Group are well understood, communicated and implemented across the Group, mainly Contracts & Procurement (C&P).
\[ Being a super user for Dhareeba portal
Job Knowledge & Skills
• Excellent knowledge of Tax regulations in Qatar as per the Qatar Tax Law
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy, enthusiastic and committed
• Good knowledge of ERP system SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (mainly excel and word
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a similar field
5 years at Managerial in the same level (required)
Minimum 3 years in Qatar (preferred)
