Description
The API/Integration Developer will be responsible for:
Developing interfaces and integration architectureManaging integration of disparate systems and data repositoriesDesign, development and maintaining RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between internal systems, third-party services, and external partnersEnsure API scalability, security, and compliance with industry standardsWork closely with the Solution Architect to ensure seamless integrationIntegrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality of FinTech solutionPerform data mapping and transformation to enable seamless data flow between different systemsImplement data validation and cleansing processes to maintain data integrityDetect & remediate production issues related to integrationConduct unit tests ensuring systems meet the needs of stakeholders based on technical documentationProvide support to internal teams and external partners in resolving integration-related issuesCreate comprehensive documentation for APIs, integrations and data mappingsImplement and enforce security best practices in API development and integrationCollaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with industry regulationsAct as a subject matter expert on APIs and Integration
Profile
The API/Integration Developer will be/have:
At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field4+ years of experience in APIs and Integration Development/Architecture, ideally within the Financial Services industryProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.jsExperience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft)Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practicesKnowledge of authentication and authorisation mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)Familiarity with message queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plusExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsEffective communication and collaboration skillsBased in/willing to relocate to Riyadh
