-Implement standardized Project Financial Reports for monthly and quarterly reviews
- Review and monitor project risks and contingencies.
- Follow up on the status of change orders to ensure their timely approval and collection.
- Ensure all project information is always up to date in the Project Module
- Ensure reconciliation of actual costs in finance to project control incurred costs
- Review and challenge project forecasts at completion.
- Ensure adequate support is provided to the projects - AP, Billings, Collections, WIP analysis, Assets, etc.
- Review costs to date, progress, estimate to complete, project forecast at completion and challenge assumptions and actual performance.
- Responsible for preparing the monthly project financial reports and variance analysis (budget vs actuals).
- Review and manage project SLAs (camps, catering, PMV, etc.).
- Ensure robust and accurate standard rates benchmarked to the market for PMV,workforce, camps, and facilities.
- Manage the over/under recoveries.
- Established the project's financial controls - project forecast, cash flow, reporting, bank guarantees, etc.
- Support the PM in controlling the project's working capital position to optimize cash flows.
- Liaise with the project's contract admin and commercial to stay close to commercial issues and challenges.
- Provide inputs on the flow down of Ts & Cs from prime to subcontracts/Pos, including strategies that optimize the working capital position of the project.
- Develop project-level cash flow forecasts
- Own contract reviews,IFRS documentation, and compliance.
- Plans cash flow by working closely with procurement and commercial teams.
- Assists and attends the monthly project reviews with other senior members of the project team.
- Monitor project KPis, costs, billings, collections, etc.
- Organize and conduct monthly Finance Project Reviews.
- Support in the Tender evaluations to ensure optimal completeness of cost elements, terms and conditions, and finance ial matters such as cash flow, etc., as well as providing input into available bank facilities, other means of finance, and the costs for finance, such as bonds, insurance.; and approve the financial aspect of the tender.
