A leading construction company in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in construction projects. This is a senior-level position, requiring excellent leadership and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, and implementation.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
- Review and approve engineering plans, designs, and specifications.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and other staff members.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the course of a project.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction projects.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Experience working in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is preferred.
