We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Tendering Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in driving our tendering process, ensuring that we submit high-quality, competitive bids for electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, combined with tendering experience, and will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process from inception to submission. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive tender documents that accurately reflect our capabilities and competitive advantages.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of electrical tender documents, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of tender requirements and specifications to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to gather technical data and develop innovative solutions that meet client needs.
- Analyze competitor bids and market trends to inform pricing strategies and tender submissions.
- Prepare and present tender submissions, including technical proposals and pricing breakdowns, to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of past tenders, outcomes, and lessons learned to improve future submissions.
- Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits to gather relevant information and establish rapport with clients.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and ensure timely submission of bids.
- Monitor the tendering process and provide regular updates to management on progress and challenges.
