We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Specialist in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our inventory levels and ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time to support our production schedules. This position requires a strong understanding of MRP principles, inventory management, and supply chain processes, along with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. You will collaborate with various departments, including production, procurement, and logistics, to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to our overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain MRP systems to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely availability of materials.
- Analyze production schedules and forecast demand to determine material requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess stock and reduce shortages.
- Collaborate with production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Utilize MRP software to generate reports and provide insights into inventory management and production efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance overall operational performance.
- Provide training and support to team members on MRP systems and best practices.
