We are looking for a Senior Accountant capable of managing full project-based accounting for Riyadh Project operations. This role is ideal for someone strong in core accounting and eager to develop into a future finance leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting entries in Oracle ERP.
- Manage full accounting cycle and financial operations for assigned project.
- Review, verify, and post supplier invoices with required documentation and VAT compliance.
- Handle petty cash, advances, reimbursements, and ensure proper control.
- Upload monthly payroll files to the bank and support salary reconciliations and cost allocations.
- Conduct monthly bank, supplier, intercompany, and project reconciliations.
- Prepare GL reports, Trial Balance, financial schedules, and support month-end closing.
- Prepare project expense reports, cost analysis, and budget vs. actual comparisons.
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns; support Zakat documentation.
- Coordinate with LC & Procurement teams for imported material accounting.
- Assist in year-end closing, accruals, provisions, and external audit preparation.
- Maintain strong documentation and internal controls.
- Supervise and guide the Accounting Assistant.
- Monitor project cash flow and highlight variances to the Country Finance Manager.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 5-8 years of experience in same position (senior accountant, preferably in contracting or construction).
- Hands-on Oracle ERP experience (preferred).
- Strong reconciliation & reporting skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Zakat, and KSA financial regulations.
- No audit firm background (only candidates with accountant and senior accountant background).
