Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing - Oncology, providing clinical leadership across oncology nursing services within a world-class Cancer Center. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced oncology nursing leader to join a growing center supported by international partners from the US and UK, with a senior leadership team comprising internationally recognized oncology specialists and healthcare experts. The Cancer Center is being developed with a strong focus on: Advanced cancer care pathways Specialized oncology services Chemotherapy, Hematology, Radiology & Infusion programs Global-standard nursing excellence Patient safety and quality care Advanced technology, education & research The Assistant Director of Nursing - Oncology will support the nursing leadership team in the development and operational delivery of oncology nursing services. The role will focus on ensuring high standards of patient care, nursing practice, staff development, quality, and operational efficiency across oncology services. Key Responsibilities Support the Director of Nursing in the planning, implementation, and operational readiness of oncology nursing services. Lead, supervise, and develop oncology nursing teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Support the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, clinical pathways, and standards. Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and patient safety requirements. Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated oncology care. Support staff education, competency development, mentoring, and professional growth. Monitor nursing quality indicators, patient outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives. Contribute to the implementation of evidence-based oncology nursing practices. Support the development and improvement of chemotherapy, infusion, hematology, and other specialized oncology services. Promote a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered nursing culture. Assist with service development, workforce planning, and operational improvement initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing; Master's preferred. 7-8 years of overall nursing experience, with significant experience in Oncology. Previous experience in a Nursing Leadership / Assistant Nurse Manager / Nurse Manager / Clinical Leadership role. Strong knowledge of oncology nursing practices, patient safety, and clinical standards. Experience managing and developing nursing teams within a hospital or cancer-care setting. Experience in chemotherapy, infusion, hematology, or other specialized oncology services is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice. Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills. Experience within a major hospital, academic medical center, cancer center, or internationally accredited healthcare organization is preferred. Willing to relocate to UAE.
