Role Purpose:
Drive profitable logistics revenue growth across the Western Province by developing new customers, expanding existing accounts, and selling integrated freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and value-added logistics solutions.
Key Activities:
- Develop and execute the Western Province sales plan, customer segmentation, territory coverage, and opportunity pipeline.
- Acquire new customers and grow strategic accounts across target sectors and logistics products. Provide accurate forecasts and communicate customer commitments, risks, and operational requirements internally.
- Lead solution development, pricing coordination, proposals, negotiations, and contract closure in line with governance requirements. Lead account reviews and resolution of commercial or service issues affecting retention and growth.
- Maintain disciplined CRM records, forecasts, activity plans, and opportunity probability assessments.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Legal, Pricing, and Customer Service to ensure feasible solutions and successful onboarding. Monitor revenue, margin, collections, customer retention, and market intelligence; take timely corrective action. Develop tailored multimodal and contract-logistics solutions based on customer supply-chain needs.
