Our client is a prominent Saudi group with a diversified portfolio of joint venture partnerships with multinational companies. They are looking to continue their growth by diversifying their portfolio, and expanding their local and international presence.
Description
Reporting to the President, you will lead the Group finance team, as well as overseeing the affiliated subsidiaries and joint ventures. You will also partner closely with the President and Executive Management team, and provide sound financial and commercial advice to this diverse group across all areas of the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for management of the accounting function, including preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, - Oversee Group consolidation and provide finance support for all affiliated subsidiaries, - Management of internal and external stakeholders; Board of Directors, Divisional GMs, Department Heads, JV Partners, Audit firms, Banks, Management Consultancies, - Critically analyse and negotiate distribution agreements, strategic partnerships, and project proposals, - Oversee the Treasury and Corporate Finance functions to adequately mitigate financial risks and enhance the growth of the organisation.- Provide accurate, timely and astute financial analysis and advice to the CEO and Executive leadership team- Assist with the planning, review and implementation of information systems to maximize financial & investment efficiency and reporting
Profile
Our client is looking for qualified candidates with a proven track record in a senior finance leadership positions, in large and complex organisations. The successful candidate must satisfy the following criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree and MBA / Professional Accounting qualifications- Previous experience in leading a large finance team in a multinational company- Proven track record of creating sustainable shareholder value, through the implementation of initiatives- Strong leadership, people management skills and stakeholder relations- Broad finance skills and experience that includes financial accounting and audit, budgeting, planning and reporting, tax and treasury, risk and compliance
