• Provides training to public and professional communities in Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
• Encourages learners to practice and demonstrate both the skills and the knowledge necessary to save lives.
• Promotes standards of excellence through teamwork, caring, integrity, respectful communication, and maintenance of a safe and professional environment.
• Implements current, traditional, and innovative teaching methodologies in accordance with appropriate course objectives.
• Develops programs, tests and executes trainings relevant to Emergency Codes, CPR, BLS, ACLS and other team trainings both in hospital and community level.
• Assures facility and equipment are set up and operational for each teaching session.
• Communicates any outstanding issues to the program director/coordinator.
• Functions as a team member to ensure meeting the goals and objectives of the course.
• Participates in a comprehensive evaluation process for course(s), students, and curriculum.
• Reviews completed course evaluation forms and reviews with coordinator/director if necessary.
• Evaluates and makes recommendations for any necessary alteration in course delivery, timeframe and other educational nuances to improve learner outcomes.
• Shares student and faculty evaluative feedback with other instructors in a constructive, positive manner, as applicable.
• Uses a variety of teaching methods to help learners develop specific communications skills like decoding, comprehension, and vocabulary according to the learner’s needs.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned like, cleaning and maintenance of manikins and stations, responsible for the safety and security of equipment, and reporting any non-working, lost or misplaced items.
