Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Develop and lead the implementation of the organizational SME strategy and ensure the operational self-sufficiency of the SME Department in the long run.
- To lead manage and coordinate the SME field staff in order to achieve the organizational goals.
- To ensure the establishment of proper tools of monitoring the portfolio quality of individual staff and identify areas of incompetence and take necessary actions.
- Provide guidance to the SME field staff on a daily basis on different operational aspects.
- Provide mentoring and on-the-job training to the field staff regarding business analysis checking of guarantors checking of collaterals preparation of appropriate documentation for loan origination follow-up etc.
- Develop and implement loan delinquency policies and procedures such that write-offs are reduced to a minimum while maintaining the reputation of the institution.
- Ensure proper verifications of SME loans before presenting them to the Credit Committee.
- Spearhead SME product branch expansion strategy
- Provide support to Mutahid senior management as required.
