Overview the job:
The Senior MEP Engineer is responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for buildings and infrastructure projects. His role is to ensure that buildings and infrastructure projects are equipped with efficient, sustainable, and reliable MEP systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development:
- Develop MEP design plans, specifications, and drawings based on project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
- Ensure that MEP systems are designed to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure that MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall building design.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for MEP systems.
2. Project Management:
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems on construction sites.
- Manage and coordinate MEP contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that MEP systems are installed to specifications and on schedule.
- Conduct quality control checks on MEP systems to ensure that they meet quality standards and project requirements.
3. Infrastructure Network:
- Design and develop infrastructure networks for water supply, sewage, and drainage systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for infrastructure network systems.
- Ensure that infrastructure network systems are designed to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of infrastructure network systems on construction sites.
4. Treated and Gray Water:
- Design and develop systems for treating and recycling gray water and other wastewater.
- Ensure that treated and gray water systems are designed to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of treated and gray water systems on construction sites.
