Job Purpose:
To lead Policy & Advisory team in developing, proposing, and maintaining the Saudi Stock Exchange’s rules, regulations, internal policies, procedures and processes for all relevant entities regulated by the Exchange.
Key Accountabilities:
Daily Operations:
•Carry out daily operations assigned for the Department to comply with the Exchange’s standards.
•Prepare timely and accurate Department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the Exchange and the Department.
•Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers to address their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
Rules & Advisory:
•Advise on the development of proposals for the Exchange’s rules and regulations pertaining to ensure it is in line with Government policies & procedures and make sure the Exchange is free from all risk.
•Advise and guide on proposed rules and regulations of the Exchange in order to be issued to the relevant stakeholders.
•Advise other departments of the Regulatory Services Division in order to provide guidance on all aspects of rules and regulations, whilst also ensuring that rules and regulations are adequately reflected in internal policies and processes.
Drafting:
•Advise on the development of a prudent regulatory strategy considering legal requirements, evolving market maturity, and emerging stakeholder requirements for the development of the Saudi capital market.
People Management:
•Guide, and assist employees by direct reports to perform their functional operations efficiently.
•Provide clear directions, prioritize tasks, assign & delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow.
•Supervise & evaluate employees’ performance with continuous feedback on their assigned targets.
•Provide development opportunities to maximize employee potentials and engagements
•Ensure compliance with the Exchange’s objectives, policies, processes, and systems.
Governance and Resilience:
•Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
•Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.
•Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions.
